Yoga with Anusuya...

Yoga Sadhaka

Yoga Therapist, E-RYT 500,

Pranayama, Meditation & Yoga Nidra Teacher.

“Yoga has transformed my approach to living, building a deep awareness and harmony within and with others around me, and I wish to share this practice with others”.

As a seeker of truth, Anusuya has always rejoiced in connecting with people across cultures and continents, in her creative pursuits as a photographer, artist, and lover of world music, seeking a deeper meaning of life through each one’s story. Anusuya was born and grew up in the birthplace of Yoga, India. The Yogic sense of self-inquiry was deep-seated in her which she later discovered and comprehended with the study of Yogic Philosophy leading to her lifelong path of Yoga. Like for most yoga sadhakas the entry point of yoga was asana but the search for truth and equilibrium in life led her to further exploration into the other limbs of yoga and finally rested in the process of meditation and beyond. During the process of exploration and inquiry, Anusuya had the opportunity to deep dive with the help of many teachers of yoga in India and the US.

Anusuya shares these yogic tools and wisdom through group and private classes with all age groups young and old, people confined to chairs or in bed. She particularly enjoys teaching senior citizens. Each yoga class is based on individual needs. Her classes are carefully crafted to impart a complete experience incorporating the 8 limbs of yoga.
